Special Edition Teddy Bear; dressed as President Teddy Roosevelt, approximately 19” tall .
This edition was created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the teddy bear--named for Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy Roosevelt was our 26th President and in 1902; on a hunting trip, he refused to shoot an old bear that had been tracked and cornered by dogs and subsequently tied up by his hunt guides for an easy 'kill'.
TEDDY BEAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION
THIS IS THE MOST ADORABLE BEAR WITH HIS BELTED HUNTING JACKET AND MATCHING HAT, BRASS EYEGLASS FRAMES, AND WOVEN SCARF. HIS RIGHT FOOT IS EMBROIDERED IN GOLD WITH THE FOLLOWING: "100TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTOR'S EDITION 1902-2002".
